The School of English Literatures, Philosophy & Languages
in The Faculty of Arts
at the University of Wollongong (Australia)
and the Centre for Canadian-Australian Studies
are hosting an international conference on

"Minorities and Cultural Assertions
Literary and Social Diasporas"

Wollongong, 8-10 October 2004

The conference will focus on the literary aspects of
the Italian diaspora with keynote addresses by Professor
Pasquino Crupi (Universita' per Stranieri "Dante
Alighieri", Reggio Calabria, Italy) and Professor
Joseph Pivato (Athabasca University, Alberta, Canada).
